Penguins and Roasted Marshmallows

Aloha! I love penguins! They usually mate for life and have the fluffiest little cute babies ever! And they waddle. What's not to love?

When I have insomnia, I love to watch coloring videos on YouTube. They are soothing and I learn lots of "stuff." One of my favorites is Sandy Allnock! Be sure you watch some of her skills with coloring tools like Copics, watercolors and color pencils. Here is a link to her spectacular BLOG. I hope you'll check out her amazing talents!

I've been striking out on my own, figuring out how to create scenes with little images I have. It is SCARY. The process puts fear into me. But when done, (keep going because there's usually a period of a hot mess to work through) sometimes I end up with a scene that makes me smile, inside and out. It's a challenge though. I hope you give this a try! I just grab a light marker and start sketching. I masked the fire and hats, then created the bowl of marshmallows because one on a stick just isn't plausible, right? Then I dragged some markers around to create the northern (I guess southern if it's penguins) lights, covered it with Wink of Stella, Crystal Lacquer and created a starry sky. Penguin love ♥

Stamp Set: Reverse Confetti "S'more Love"
Copic Markers

Miss You Baaaaah-dly!

Aloha,

Here is a little fun - mountain goat way up on top of a mountain. I wanted to use a sentiment "High" for high up on the mountains, but you never know how someone might interpret that, so I stuck with "Hi." It was fun drawing the triangle mountains and making this a twilight time of a card. I will enter this into the Paper Smooches September Animals Challenge.

I would like to enter it into the September 2017 30 Day Coloring at The Daily Marker. Whenever Kathy Racoosin holds these 30-day Coloring Challenges, I try really hard to play, even if just for a few days of the month ☺

Stamp Set: Paper Smooches "Green Acres"
Cardstock: GKD White, Bazzill Black
Inks: Copic Markers for coloring; Memento for stamping and drawing; Versafine for sentiment
Stickles Diamond Glitter; Studio B Glitter in Yellow
Glossy Accents
Corner Rounder

Thank you for stopping by!
Wishing you and yours a blessed day, night and week ♥

Watercolor Floral Etched Background

Aloha ♥

This will be an entry for the MFT Coloring Virtuoso Challenge that closes in 11 minutes lol. So here goes! Rather than make a card, this is a 10-1/2 inch x 11-inch matted wall hanging. I used Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle all over the watercoloring. Just imagine how sparkly it is IRL ♥

Stamp: MFT Etched Flower Background
Inks: VersaMark
Embossing Powder: White Fine Detail by SSS
Paint: Zig Clean Color Brush Pens (Pink with tad of Carmine Red for flowers; Cobalt Blue and bit of Pink for the background)
Cardstock: Canson Watercolor; SU white; GKD Passionate Pink and Blue Raspberry
Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle (over the entire painting)
Lots and lots of 1/4 inch Scor Tape

Pastel Lotus

Aloha!

What a few weeks of natural disasters we have been having recently. My heart is just shattered for all those affected by flooding, hurricanes, loss of homes, lost lives, earthquakes, fires out west. I feel overwhelmed but strangely, I felt compelled to color something soft. I'm not a pastel person, but it's what my heart moved me to do.

Using Copic markers I colored an MFT lotus flower. I didn't care for the water I colored around it, so fussy cut it out and laid it up on foam. The Challenge is to make a CAS card. This takes much discipline for me not to keep on adding and adding elements - it's hard. This is going to a friend in the stamping community who is going through her own serious struggles with health and now the loss of a loved one.

Here is a link to the MFT Clean And Simple Genius Challenge. You still have time to get your entries in, but hurry!

Stamp Sets: MFT "IB Flowers 3" and "About Sympathy"
Cardstock: GKD 120# White
Inks: Image stamped in Memento Angel Pink, colored with Copic Markers, and the sentiment is stamped with VersaFine Smoke Gray (a little softer than black)
Sequins Pretty Pink Posh
Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen (over the flower and leaf)
Corner Round Punch and Foam Sheet; Stays Put liquid glue

Mahalo for stopping by.
I'll be continuing to pray for all those affected by natural disasters ♥

Seascapes, One in Browns and Another in Blues

Aloha!

I made a couple more cards using the same stamp set as in the last post for a friend who wanted to give them to her uncles visiting from Tahiti this week! She asked me to add an outrigger canoe for 3 on each card, and to keep them similar in design but one in brown and the other in blues. Simple pencil sketches gave me an idea of how to add the canoes and the Memento Black Tuxedo marker created the silhouettes. I will enter this in The 30 Day Coloring Challenge by Kathy Racoosin.

Stamp Set: Framescape Tropical Skies by Theresa Momber for Gina K. Designs
Inks: The black is by GKD Black Onyx; and I also used Distress Inks in several browns, yellow and the blues; VersaFine Smoke Gray on the envelopes and inside the cards
Cardstock by GKD 80# Ivory
Viva Decor Gold and Perfect Pearls White Opal for the splatters

Seascape in Neutrals

Aloha, dear friends,

We needed a masculine card to say thank you to a local, young man here. First thing I thought of was to tie the card theme with the ocean.

Stamp Set: Framescape Tropical Skies by Gina K. Designs, designed by Theresa Momber

Inks: Distress Oxide Inks in Fossilized Amber and Vintage Photo (use both fine spray and large water drops then allow to dry before moving on to gold paint. I used Gina K. Designs Black Ink to stamp the tropical scene as well as the decorations on the envelope. I doodled some ocean swirls and horizon, and coconuts in the tree by using a Memento Black marker.

Cardstock: Pure Ivory by GKD 80#, Black layering, Neenah 80# for the scene.

Gold paint splatter: Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Gold (mix with water on an acrylic block, use a wet paint brush and flick the thick, gold paint away off the edge of the block and towards the scene).

The ship's wheel is an embellishment I made a few years ago by die-cutting the wheel out, coloring it with some gold paint, pressing onto a VersaMark pad, then used Ultra Thick Embossing Powder in clear to create a solid, clear-domed cover for the wheel. There is a small champagne color gem in the center and a gold brad at the top holding it to the card.

Thank you for visiting and sharing your thoughts! With aloha ♥

Thank Your Mail Carrier

Aloha, everyone!

I've been wanting to make a card for our mail lady for-EVER. I don't know why it took me so long. But this will be entered into the MFT Color Challenge 74.

I kept it simple (well, for me anyway) using Copic markers to color in, create a little lawn for her to stand in, and added a bird with musical notes for that little somethin' somethin' extra :) Glossy Accents creates a shiny bubble finish over the envelope, her shoes, the hat trim and her buttons, and a touch over her eyes. The image layer is popped up on a piece of foam.

Stamp Set: My Favorite Things "Pure Innocence" Line -- You/ve Got Mail!
Stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Cardstock: GKD Black and Neenah Solar White 80#
Gina Marie Stitched Rectangle Die
Stampin' Up Gold Mirror Chevron washi tape

Colored with Copic Markers and edged with Memento Lady Bug Red

Trio of Nurse Cards

Aloha, everyone!

I hope your week has started off well ♥ Here is a trio of Mahalo cards I made for nurses who took such tender loving care of me. I still have a few more to make, so be "patient" with me LOL.

I kept these simple by coloring with Copic Markers. Then I used a variety of dies, sequins, ribbons, punches, Nuvo drops and cut/embossed papers to layer and place them on to the cards.

Cardstock: GKD 120# White, Anna Griffin (pink shimmer), Mirror Heart swirls (found in stash) and Neenah Solar White (images)

A Little Hula

Aloha!

Where have I been? Well, here - there, and coloring when possible ♥

I made a couple of little hula girl cards and here is one of them. It's a thank you for one of the nurses who has taken good care of me.

Using Copic markers, I colored the images and then fussy cut them out. The palm tree is a die though. See her little top? I fussy cut it lol! This gave me the thought to draw the flower shapes onto the other card, so that's what I did.

I cut a piece of paper into a hill and sponged the sandy beach and sky using the negative and positive pieces. You'll see Stickles and Glossy Accents on the ocean, hula skirt and bird beak, oh, and eyes. Finally, I used an Action Wobbler mini for the back of the hula girl and you got it, she SHAKES!! And the tree has heart coconuts!

Now my brain does not lean well towards sketch challenges. In fact, they tend to make me freeze up and itch all over! But I keep trying...

To be entered into MFT Sketch 343.

My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Hula Girl; Birds of Paradise; Palm Tree Die
Spellbinder Oval and Scallop Oval Dies
GKD 120# White card stock; Neenah 80# Solar White card stock; AC lime cardstock; GKD

Coffee Time

Aloha!

I hope your week is going well, full of creativity.

Here is the 4th and final card to be entered into the Coffee Loving Papercrafter's 2017 Summer Blog Hop. It is a little thrilling to be able to play along with everyone!

I stamped the images onto watercolor paper and used watercolors to paint them. Then they were fussy cut and adhered, some on adhesive foam for a real 3D type of look.

The background was made using a cursive background stamp and silver ink. The bottom is a pearl vellum with a hand punch along the bottom to create a tablecloth. I wish I could remember the name of the branch die cut behind the sentiment (I think it is Memory Box?) but I can't get up right now, sorry. It's sparkly from the glitter on the coffee steam and the pearlized vellum, drops of glossy accents and enamel accents.

Stamp Sets: Both are by Jane's Doodles, "Mom" (the flowers) and "Coffee Time" (the coffee images); MFT Cursive Background
Cardstock: MFT Cement Grey for the background, GKD 120# white for the base, and Grafix 24# Iridescent Pearl Vellum for the tablecloth, strip of Bazzill Black for sentiment
Dies/Punch: Gina Marie "Wonky Rectangles" grey layer; Martha Stewart Eyelet Punch on vellum; and I believe that stem on the top is from Memory Box (could be wrong) and teeny butterfly that I forget from which die (sigh)
Watercolor Paint "Gansai Tambi" (blues, grays, yellows, reds, greens, black) #1 Paint Brush
Watercolor Paper "Strathmore" 140# coldpress
Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder; VersaMark Ink (sentiment)
Touches of liquid glue, then Prismatic Glitter (on the steam from the coffee cups)
Small drops of Glossy Accents (clear) and Enamel Accents (black) here and there
Inks (a bit of Aegean Blue by Memento on the die cut leaf branch and the shadows of images on the vellum tablecloth); StazOn Black for the images

Extended Weekend

Aloha!

Do you love Riley? The Funny Bones sentiments just tickle me!!!! This card is going to be entered into the Coffee Loving Papercrafters 2017 Summer Blog Hop

Colored with Copic Markers, and then used Nuvo Black drops for the decorations on the chair and Riley's eyes. I used the Nuvo Clear drops on the coffee cup and cupcake. The wall and floor are scored to resemble wood planks, then inked directly from some ink pads.

The sentiment must have been one of the hardest ones I've ever tried to stamp. It took about a dozen tries, maybe more, then I gave up. This will have to do lol. It either was way too light or way too dark or smudgy. I tried cleaning the stamp several times, using 3 different inks, and cleaned in between attempts. Oh, well.

Stamp Sets: Riley & Funny Bones
Cardstock: GKD 120# & 80# white, Bazzill Black layering, GKD pattern paper
Inks: Copic Markers (image) and Memento Inks Toffee Crunch, Jumbo Java, Aspen Blue for the (background)
Black faceted gems Want-2-Scrap
Nuvo drops in Ebony black and Morning Dew (clear)

Spring To Go

Aloha, friends,

Here is a card that is very simple and will be entered into the UNITY Be Inspired - Hearts and Polka Dots Challenge in the Facebook group page. It will also be entered into the Coffee Loving Papercrafter's Summer 2017 Blog Hop.

This is a Unity image "Spring to Go" coffee cup. I love how they added the floral spray to the center. Using blues & aquas on the cup is a step out of the usual neutrals but it was fun to try. I only used a strip of polka dot paper as trim and punched a small heart out of white paper, sponged with red and covered with Glossy Accents. There are touches of Prismatic Glitter around the flowers as well as Glossy Accents for sparkle and shine.

Stamp: UNITY "Coffee To Go"
Cardstock: GKD 120# white, black, turquoise sea
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, edging the cardstock with Espresso. Heart Lady Bug ink.
Dies: Scrapbooking Made Simple "Simply Refined," "Must Have Ovals" set
Embossing Folder: Darice "Floral Design"
Pattern Paper: "Echo Park"
Twine: Stampin' Up; Glossy Accents; Prismatic Glitter GKD; Adhesive Foam Squares

Mahalo for coming by!!
Wish you and yours the best for the upcoming week ♥

Summer Float with Iced Latte

Aloha!

This is a card for the Coffee Lovering Papercrafters SUMMER Blog Hop 2017. It will also be entered into the House Mouse #243 Interactive Card Challenge.

For the Coffee Loving Papercrafter's hop I made the drink an iced latte. For the Stampendous Challenge it is supposed to be interactive - all I could think of right now is shaker card. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it all with Prismacolor Pencils. Then I used a bit of Gamsol to smooth out any lines. The bunny is so adorable to me, floating during the summertime heat, cooling off with an iced latte that a bumble bee is sipping from, too :)

A touch of Memento Summer Sky and Angel Pink are sponged around for the sky, and Diamond Stickles are covering the latte glass, the water, and the fish decorating the inner tube. Don't you love the little ducky tied to the tube?

I used one of Gina Krupsky's videos at StampTV to make this "pinch and cinch" bow. You just tie some ribbon with twine, thread the twine into a button and tie it off. Cut the ends off. I've misplaced the roll of adhesive foam (YES, I did) so I just adhered two layers of fun foam cut 1/4" wide to make the shaker frame.

Stamp: Happy Hopper Inner Tube Nap by Stampendous
Cardstock: Gina K. Designs 120# White and Wild Dandelion
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Angel Pink, Summer Sky
Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol
Dies for the Frame: Scrapbooking Made Simple "Must Have A4 Rectangles"
Sequins: Pretty Pink Posh
"Grafix" Clear Craft Plastic (for window)
Double Side Adhesive 1/4" and 1/8"; Liquid Glue by Scrapbooking Made Simple
Stickles Diamonds
Stash - ribbon, twine, button
Bumble Bee: Jolee's Boutique

Silhouette Floral

Aloha, friends!

Boy, this took a while to get done this week. I've messed some up, changed my mind about which stamp sets to use, and messed up even more. Talk about a challenge!

But there is one more day to enter into the current weekly StampTV Silhouette Scene Challenge that Melanie is hosting. Come and play with us! You have until Sunday evening to enter your card, depending on your time zone.

The background is a blend of distress inks. I really thought the flowers in the set I wanted to use was solid. Nope. Line. I stamped the flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black and used the same marker color to color everything in to qualify for a solid silhouette image. Presto! Then I found these teeny black faceted gems to add all around. I love the MISTI. Even with cling stamps, you can practice a couple times to make sure the sentiments line up -- whoooopie! I can't find the Bow thingie and trying Gina's way doesn't work with my fingers, so I just tied some ribbon into a very simple bow and glued it to the stems. Finally I used a die cut for the outer edge.

Stamp Set: "Heartfelt Thanks" by Theresa Momber for Gina K. Designs
Cardstock: GKD 120# and 80# white
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black (image); Distress Inks (background)
Prismacolor Pencils (for the envelope and inside the card images)
Gems: Want2Scrap
Ribbon from Stash (feels like silk?)
Die: Femme Frames by MFT
Adhesives: Liquid Glue by Scrapbooking Made Simple & some Scor Tape

Thank you very much for stopping by!

Long Rainbow Showers

Aloha dear friends!

Here is a quick card, a little extra long to make the rainbow large (use a ruler and extend the rainbow for however long you wish it to be).. It's 6-1/2" x 4" so I'll make the envelope soon.

The stamps are by Paper Smooches and then sketched the little bitty heart rain drops. The inside has a crazy dancing bird with the sentiment "Live like it's SPRING every day!" For the sentiment on the front, color each letter with a Memento marker and stamp using the MISTI. Clean and move on to the next color/letter until you have a rainbow of colors. The rain drops have glossy accents over them.

Entered into: PAPER SMOOCHES "SHOWERS" challenge.

Stamp Sets: "Luminous Spring" for the front of the card and "My Peeps" for the bird inside, all by Paper Smooches
Cardstock: GKD Red & White
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, and Memento Markers for coloring; Prismacolor Pencils for the heart raindrops, pink cheeks, and cloud shadows
Wink of Stella Clear on rainbow, raindrops, and bird inside
Glossy Accents over the raindrops
Corner Rounder for the card base corners

Thank you for visiting, leaving some love, and encouraging me on ♥ Aloha!

It's really simple, colored with Copics and added pink pearls. I put the little buds and leaves, white dots on the onesie. And it should be on its way before the baby goes to college!!!

Hibiscus Card Set

Aloha dear friends,

I wanted to complete a little project today for some visiting friends. It's a set of 10 hibiscus cards with envelopes using the Emboss Resist method which I just love to do. I used Gina's same technique as before so I will be entering it into the current Product Release Challenge which is located HERE. I hope you will play along with us! I ordered several of the new stamp sets including the new kit - it's so stinkin' cute I just couldn't help it.

If you saw yesterday's post, well, this is pretty much the same technique. Someone on Facebook asked me how to do it. Here is the link to Gina's video showing how she did it: Emboss Resist Using Softer Shades of Color. Be sure to enter your creation into the challenge using the tag RELEASE0417.

I was in a hurry to get this done today before our friends left. Therefore, no sentiment on the front :( However, there is either a sea shell or a butterfly stamped inside each card matching the color on the front, as well as a rotation of images on the envelopes in the same colors as each card. I hope the pictures don't bore you to tears. I had tears only because my femur is just killing me today along with my back. But hey, whatever it takes and I got'er done! So thank you for looking my friends!

Products Used --
Stamp Sets: "Gifts from the Sea" and "Stately Flowers 4," both by Melanie Muenchinger for Gina K. Designs
Cardstock: GKD 120# white cardbase; Neenah Solar White 80# for the curved front layer
Inks: Distress Inks for coloring;Hibiscus are stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed using GKD White embossing powder.
Embossing Folder "Preserves" by Cuttlebug (comes in a set of four - I don't know if these are cherries or what, but the one looks like pears and so on)
Die: "Curved Edge" by Simon Says Stamp

I wanted these as flat as possible for ease of mailing. I forgot to include a book of stamps - my bad. But this was a last minute gift. I started late last night and finished up this morning. For me this is speed of light lol.

Butterfly Kisses

Aloha dear ones,

Was your week a good one? Resting up for the next week? I've been busy with projects but am nearly done so am able to PLAY ALONG WITH GINA'S RELEASE CHALLENGE!!! Come and play along with us!

Gina's challenge is probably my favorite technique - emboss resist. Why? It's Fast. It's Easy. And you can doctor it up as much or as little as you wish for a POW of a look. Gina's card is a very soft, pastel sponged look. This is a challenge for me because I like to go too far, adding elements and especially color until the thing glows enough to be seen from outer space. I should have worked for NASA.

For our niece who worked SUPER hard, working while going to school. She will graduate from nursing school in one more week and has two sweet little girls!!! She started out like I did, from the bottom as a very hardworking CNA, then back to school to become an RN. I loved every bit of it, even some of the yucky stories that make me laugh now. So to see my brother's daughter do what Auntie did, well, shucks, makes me feel a little bit proud. And she's marrying a very handsome police officer! ♥ So Cabrina, I love you.

What Did I use?

Stamp Set: "Take Flight" an oldie but goodie from 2009 by GKD
Embossing Powder: White by GKD for butterfly. For the sentiment I stamped first in Worn Lipstick then poured Clear embossing Powder over it by GKD to give it a glossy, raised look on pearlized Vellum.
Inks: VersaMark for the embossing; Distress Inks in Scattered Straw, Fossilized Amber and Worn Lipstick blended over the butterfly
Cardstock: GKD White; Pearlized Vellum (sentiment)
Craft Foam (I cut out a layer under the entire focal image layer and sentiment to pop the entire look)
Sequins are clear by Pretty Pink Posh, held on with Multi Matte Medium
Vellum Tape by 3M Scotch Brand to hold the vellum sentiment to the foam tape (actually works and I can't see it behind the pearl vellum)
Scor Tape to hold all that foam to the card and the top layers

Mahalo for stopping by!
Sending each of you Aloha ♥

It's "SUPER KITTIE!"

Aloha!

Coffee + Kittie = Super Kittie!!! Don't ask me what I was thinking. I am reverting to my comic book days. But that's what I say when looking over my 4 Neat and Tangled stamp sets. Maybe it should go into the UGLY card album. I have a friend who is hysterical -- we see strange things and crack up. Maybe she'll like this one.

Anyway, I am going to embarrass myself and enter it into the Coffee Lover Papercrafting Challenge as well as Kathy Racoosin's 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Inside the card it says "Love Meeeoow" next to a ball of yarn. The envelope is stamped up, too. Yes, kittie is wearing a red cape. Super Kittie.

Stamp Sets: "Meow" and "Big Bold Brew" by Neat & Tangled; "Starry Background" by Hero Arts in gold ink on the font of card, inside, and on envelope flap (using Delicata Gold ink)

Spring Watercolor

Aloha dear ones,

Art Impressions is having a challenge to Watercolor!

Well, I messed one up pretty good last week. There was no saving it and no "2nd side" for that poor little thing, so into the garbage it went. I don't have many AI floral stamps but I have some with the "big butts" that you stick to the wobbler thingeys.  I just couldn't see watercoloring a butt and having it wobble in someone's face. But I have a few sprigs of flower and twigs and gave it another try.

If you use a teensy wet paint brush, you know - squeeze the water out and use a damp brush on the painted images - well, I got away with using GKD 80# cardstock! Yes, really! It didn't swell or pill. I also stamped the stamp, then dabbed water onto the stamp prior to stamping - sort of like spritzing with water before stamping. That way you don't need much water other than to spread the color around once it is stamped.

The two little birds are just sketched in with color pencils, which is TOO intense. I have to try and remember to use a lighter hand when using Derwent "Inktense" pencils. I also might look for a StazOn in much lighter shade for watercoloring because the basket stands out too much.

Stamp Sets: Art Impressions "Spring Basket" and "Blooming Birdhouse;" Sentiiment by Sweet 'n Sassy "Celebrating Milestones"
Cardstock: GKD 80# ivory for the image; 120# ivory for card; Passionate Pink for frame
Inks: StazOn Black (basket), Memento Ink Lilac Posies for flowers and sentiment; Distress Inks for twigs and Memento London Fog for the basket and shadow
Derwent Watercolor Pencils (for the birds)
Dies: Gina Marie Inverted Scallop Rectangle Frames
Wink of Stella Clear (over the birds)
Nuvo Clear Crystal Drops (well, we can't see those but they're on the ivory background LOL)

Mahalo for stopping by & for leaving your encouragement!

Riley, Problem Solver Extraordinaire

Aloha friends!

Today I have a quick card that makes me laugh. I LOVE Riley! He's such a wise guy. I just used some color pencils and saw a challenge somewhere online for us to leave something hanging over the edge, but for the life of me, I can't find it now.

Stamp Sets: "Sleepy Riley" for focal image and sentiment; Hero Arts "Mini Stars" background
Cardstock: GKD 120# white base, Bazzill Blue layer, Neenah 80# white for sentiment, image and Yellow for moon
Inks: Prismacolor Pencils (no Gamsol), Sakura Clear and Jelly Roll White Gel Pens (stars), Delicata Silvery Shimmer (for background stars).
Wink of Stella Clear on Moon covered by 3D Crystal Lacquer
SU Birch Tree Embossing Folder (bakcground)

A Moon Baby

Aloha and surprise - I'm still here and trying to make cards!

Our nephew and his wife in Tennessee just had their second baby, a little girl. They were blessed with a little boy first. I like to tease people whenever and wherever possible, so I encourage them "the fun" doesn't really begin until after 5 or 6 kids, so keep on going!!!! And be sure to breast feed all of them, and use cloth diapers lol!!! Don't cheat and use disposables because of the landfills and such. Hah! They are bordering on loathing from hearing me anymore :D

I stamped the starry background onto the card base. Stamped Image with StazOn Black ink. Using watercolors, I swirled colors for a sky behind the focal image.Watercolor Moon and baby (I CASEd Lydia Fiedler on this part). Cut the dried panel with dies and then adhere to card. Cover the hanging star with Glossy Accents and cover the entire crescent moon with Wink of Stella clear. SHINY!!!

I will try to enter this into Kathy Racoosin's 30 day coloring challenge ♥

Calendars and Envelope Art

Aloha dear friends,

I've been MIA and most of you know it's the usual-back and bone issues. But over the weeks I laid here stamping and spotlight coloring the envelopes for Hawai'ian calendars. I'm sorry I'm not up to listing everything used but here's an inkling :) It took about 3 months to complete around 25-30 of these 2017 Hawai'ian calendar sets. It was a joy to be able to do a little coloring spotlighting!

Stamps: SU flowers and birds
Inks: Memento Black
Pencils: Prismacolor, Gamsol, with touches of Sakura Clear Glitter Pen

Aloha for now!!!
