I am laying in scrap paper, glue dot backing papers, scissors (yes, 3 of them), paper punches, paper packs, a score board, newspapers, cat food, and ... shall I go on? Cause it's too ugly to picture. Oh, and glitter, lots and lots of glitter. At least it's not in my eyes and nose again.
This is a stamp from Stampendous, but doesn't have a name because I bought it used. The embossing folder is Cuttlebug Snowflakes. I used three colors of Memento inks to sponge the sky and snow: Summer Sky, Aegean Sea and Night Sky. I used white gel pen on the tree limbs and roof, a bit on the snow, and sprinkled Stampin' Up Diamond glitter over it. I tried really hard to make it look like a few flakes were blowing off the trees towards and across the moon.
Added a few clear rhinestones and I was done. (Cardstock from GKD, and Bazzill blue).
Thank you so much for looking!
What a very pretty snowy Christmas card Rosy, you are putting me to shame with all the cards that you are making. I really like this card. Hugs, Jen x

This is so strikingly beautiful, Rosy; it made my heart flutter with precious memories of my growing-up years in Germany. I loved walking in the snow at night with the moon and stars glittering in the crunching snow. You've totally captured the magic I still remember so well! Thank you for this nostalgic little getaway! I needed that today!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful Rosy. Hope you're getting some rest because if you do this kind of work when you're exhausted I can't wait to see what you do when you're well rested lol
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful winter nighttime scene. Your coloring is magnificient. And, you are certainly churning out a lot of beauties these days. Don't over do my friend...but I am sure enjoying your work.

ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing card. Looks like a picture postcard, and trust me that is as close as I get to snow, looking at the pictures, LOL Such a gorgeous card, and love the dotted rhinestones, remind me of glistening snowflakes. I do remember snow, just prefer not to be in it, LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this lovely card. Now, you have a least one card towards that Christmas list...LOL
