Keeping it CAS

This is very challenging for me to do. If I don't use a layer and embellishments, I feel totally naked!

StampTV has a challenge this week (STV14MON37) for CAS cards. Here are a few I put together:

"End of Summer" Thinking of You is a watercolor on Strathmore 140# paper. I sprinkled Rock Salt and let it dry overnight. I also covered the petals and cone of seeds in the centers with Crystal Lacquer, as well as a few drops on the leaves to look like it just rained.

This next card is a simple little penguin gliding along the ice. He is colored with Memento Markers. he has some White Flower Soft on his earmuffs and Crystal Lacquer on his nose, eyes, along the ice and skate blades.

The third card is stamped on yellow cardstock with Memento Gray, and colored with Prismacolor Pencils, blended with Gamsol.

I'm sorry the picture is fuzzy and spotty - I couldn't get the camera to focus that well today.

Thank you for looking at all the CAS cards for today!

  5. Yaaaay! It posted. so now I hope this one will, too. Your CAS cards are amazing. I know you're not a CAS sort of girl, so, my hat off to you for trying to keep those artistic, creative impulses at bay, hehehe. You did a wonderful job. Love the salt and clear lacquer effects. And your Mahalo card is so bright and beautiful...reminds me of a song....♪♪ ♫
