Ombre Ocean

I am so happy to create an ombre colored ocean. Melanie Muenchinger has a stamp set called Pretty Patterns and I used the chevron to stamp the background. JustRite has At the Beach and I love these beach images. I colored the sun rays with Sakura glitter pen so it super sparkles! I popped up the beach image, added copper brads, and finally a couple 3D embellies: a hibiscus and a shell.

Konichiwa Stampers!

This is another card for SCS DTGD. I used a variety of stamps -- the little kimono girl I think is a Stampendous wood mounted stamp I've had for a long time. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up. And the beautiful chevron borders at the bottom are from "Pretty Patterns" a stamp set from Melanie Muenchinger available at Gina K. Designs.

I colored her with Prismacolor pencils, blended with Gamsol, and added a touch of Sakura clear glitter pen here and there, used Memento inks for the chevrons and sentiment, then added the rhinestones, button and jute to finish. It's kinda CAS ;)
