It's Raining Flowers

Aloha friends,

This week at StampTV the challenge is to make your own background. It's hosted by Leslie and it feels good to play along. You can see the challenge HERE  And yup, still have one arm until the end of next week. This is my 4th try. Once I dropped the whole black ink pad onto my finished background (arrrgggghhhhhh ya matey!).

Stamp Sets: Frames and; Flowers #1 (the flower), Fanciful Tags (sentiment and oval border), and Spring Basket (the leaves), all by GKD.
Cardstock: Black Onyx and Bubble Gum Pink, GKD
Memento Black Tuxedo Ink
Copic Markers: the Red Violets and Yellow Greens
Viva Decor Gold Pen, Ranger Enamel Accents Black, Sakura Red Glitter Pen
Black Twine, Wink of Stella Clear, and adhesive pop dots

♥ And wishing Gina a speedy recovery after her rough night in the ER last night ♥

  2. Raining flowers is soooo much better than "raining black ink pads"!! I've done that, too. Sigh. However, you persevered and made this beautiful, flowery, summery card! Love those red violets! Making this background on pink was a super idea, and I love how you've done your black twine!
