Aloha sweet friends,
I am back after compromising with Bruce about the foot. Instead of the ER, I called insurance and they said it would be fine to go to a local Urgent Care, that it was trauma ready. Yay! We drove in to town and they have no x-ray machine so we came home. That is a compromise in my book.
I finished the interior and the envelope for a card made earlier this week. My brother who is closing in on 65 just remarried a younger gal and they have a new baby. This card is for them. I have no idea how he does it but he was a real cutie in school and girls are always drawn to him, even now :-) We siblings have grandkids out of high school which is making our family tree more confusing to me as the years go by. Remember the song "I'm my own grandpa?" I'm hoping this doesn't happen.
The pink elephant and scalloped Circle are heart embossed with pink Embossing Powder. The flowers on the DP are accented with Crystal Lacquer.

This is so cute and a wonderful baby girl card. It will be so thrilling to them to get it and know you made it especially for them and their new little one. And, I bet having a new little one to love will make your brother feel much younger. Congratulations to you too.
ReplyDeleteOh how stinkin' cute. Your brother and his wife will LOVE it!! How interesting to have a baby at 65, I can't even imagine it!! Good thing his wife is young. We have a lot of weirdness in our family too, as far as cousins and aunts and uncles being different ages. It makes it very confusing sometimes. I love the little clothes line with the sweet onsies, what an awesome card!!! Well done!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Love that you made a shaker card and that sweet little clothesline--super cute! Congratulations! Good for him and his new (younger) bride! Nothing is as precious as a new baby in the family! Wait....did I miss something about an injury? Hope all are on the mend!!!
ReplyDeleteYikes! 65? He must be Superman! I've just spent three weeks with new grandson and I'm totally pooped! They will love this card...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Grand kids at 65 not kids LOL!
ReplyDeleteVery cute card! Love the pink elephant in the centre! (Sort of "the elephant in the room"??) hee hee. Can't imagine having kids now---grandkids tire me out enough! Good thing his wife is younger... Congrats on a new niece!

How cute Rosy,
ReplyDeleteWell, my ex m.i.l was in hospital having their last one at the same time the oldest had his wife in having their first, so the niece was a day or two older than the uncle. :)
