This week's challenge at StampTV is to make a card for Gina's mother, Ruth. I really hope she is recovering well after surgery!
Ingredients:
Stamp Set - "Vertical Greetings and Things" by Theresa Momber for Gina K. Designs
Vellum for dragonfly; Cardstock by GKD
Embossing Powder "Liquid Platinum" by Ranger
Copic markers for the flowers; Memento markers for the dragonfly
Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh!
VersaMark, Scor Tape, Foam Tape
I colored the back of the vellum dragonfly so the colors would be soft. The yellow layer and the sentiment are popped up with adhesive foam.
♥ Get Well Ruth ♥
CUTE Dragonfly Alert !
Big Hugs to You, Ruth!!
~ Thank you for stopping by ~
I always LOVE the look of embossing and then coloring, but never remember to do it. This will surely bring a smile to Ruth's beautiful little face! It's gorgeous! xo~
ReplyDeleteJust BEAUTIFUL, Rosy. I love how you have heat embossed those flowers, and then colored them in. Absolutely gorgeous. I love the simplicity of this too, and that yellow is so pretty with the white. Ruth will just LOVE this!!! Thanks for playing along over at Stamp TV this week!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card design. I love the embossed look too! And, cute dragon fly. Looks like it is ready to fly off!
ReplyDeleteLove your design. Like Donna I like coloring on embossing. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWo Roy, that powder pops everything, Greet card my friend. Hugz
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the cheery colours and the vertical sentiment. (Wish I had some of those.) The embossing makes it really stand out. Great card--Ruth will love it!
