Solitude

The mountains, ahhhh! Nothing like the beauty of nature. Sure miss hiking, camping, and long drives to anywhere. This scene reminds me of Mt. Rainier in Washington State.

I appreciate you visiting my blog -- thank you!

    1. Oh, Verna - I am looking at the side of the stamp. It's wood mount, and has "K-2583, Santa Rosa, CA, Made in USA 1998 PSX" I thought it was a PSX but wasn't positive. All my best, Rosy

  3. Love this card & scene. Wonderful landscape, and had I not read your comment about stamp being PSX, I would have guessed Stampscape. This is a great look, in what media did you color, please? Whatever, you did a fantastic job, and yes, Solitude is a perfect title for it. TFS

    1. Hi, Mary, I'm glad you like it! Wish I could draw remotely like that. But I only used Copic markers, 2-3 shades of each color, as well as VersaMagic Sea Breeze ink (if I remember right) sponged as the sky. The image is mostly inked when you lift the stamp, so there is very little coloring one needs to do - the dark shadows are already there for you. Just makes it look like I'm an artist <3 All my best!!!
