I'm Back

Sort of :)

Aloha! How is your world? Ours is stressful with a chance of more tension. But we are kicking and moving forward.

Paper Smooches is having an Anything GOES! challenge for September. I made a thank you card for one of many friends and family that are helping us out with remodeling this house and looking for a home on the mainland (we are going back to Oregon). This process is going to take a while and I'm going to need to make a bunch of thank you cards!!! Where would any of us be without friends!?! I am doing a little bit of coloring here and there, trying to find some moments of tranquility. I hope your weekend is productive, serene, and filled with happiness!

  1. Rosy ,
Your card is very nice as always ! Love the blue and that embossing folder !

  2. What a lovely card design. If you are like me, I find making a card helps to calm me down. I hope the search for a new home will go well for you both.

  3. Hi Rosy. What a lovely card. your friend will love it! I absolutely adore the twine! Soo cute! Wish I could come and help. Shoot, I wish I could come to Hawaii and see you. But hey, Oregon is a lot closer, so who knows? We have family in Montana, and from there it's not that far at all. Hugs!!

  4. Good thoughts going your way, sweetie. I'm sure it must be unsettling, but in the end all will be well. Am wondering how Bruce is doing. Your card is so stinkin' CUTE!! Love that embossing folder, I have not seen it before. Great design, as always, glad you could find some "me" time!! Huggles!!!!

  5. You're right--where would we be without friends?! Love your ocean card--so appropriate! Hopefully Bruce is on the mend? Prayers for you all and that you find a place on the mainland without difficulty!

  6. What a cute card! I love the little boat and the twine you used on the left with the lifesaver just takes this to a new level of cuteness! TFS!

  7. Such a perfect little thank you card! Love the sailing theme and that sentiment! Thinking aboutcha! xoxo

Your kind comments really encourage me a TON! Mahalo nui loa!
