We have not needed to turn on the air conditioner for at least a week - yay! The fans are enough. But it's "chilly" in the mornings (don't laugh) like 66 degrees.
I've had this stamp set for so long and never did get it inky. Do you have any of those? The guilt finally got to me so inky it is! And it's been a while since I've made a shaker card -- this is for a young girl who is about 5 but can read at a 3rd grade level! She has practiced so much.
Inside the card I stamped the fish bowl with some star fish, mini fish, and will print out "You're a STAR!"
The sentiment is just snipped on both ends and I used a Memento blue marker to add the stitching and dots. The little tear drop pieces that fell out of the frame die are inside with all the sequins and beads.

That is such a FINtastic Shaker card....how fun! 5 years old and reads at that level--she's like a Super Hero! LOVE your card and your thoughtfulness to send it to her. Happy New Year!
ReplyDelete66 may be chilly to you, but I found one degree above freezing pretty chilly for me today. (It's all relative, right? I'm just glad I don't live somewhere colder.) Your "fishy" shaker is adorable!!! Well done! That is going to be one, happy little 5-yr. old!
ReplyDeletePs Best Fishes for a happy, healthy new year!
