Overlapping Circles

This is a stamp by Hero Arts called Overlapping Circles. Sharri Carrol on Day 5 of Watercolor Class gave me this idea. While she did one corner of this image with distress markers, and she did not overlap the colors, it did inspire me to change it up a bit and do the entire image. It took me about 4 hours over the course of 3 days to color this with Copic Markers. I used about 3-4 colors in each color group for each circle, trying to blend all four sides of every circle. The light source is on the left (not that it matters much with this kind of image). Have a headache yet? I got a roaring one doing this, and it makes me dizzy to look at it now LOL. I hate to cover all that work with an image or a sentiment so thought I would just keep it like it is for now. Perhaps will change my mind later; we'll see. Maybe I will add a mini clear bling to all those tiny dots :)

Thank you very much for coming by.

  2. Wow! This is so pretty! No, don't add the bling--just a sentiment on a strip (or leave it as is) and let that fabulous background shine!

  4. This is bright and beautiful! I wouldn't add a sentiment either. A lot of work went into this! Great job.

  5. Wow! Fantastic look for a card by itself or as a background. And, I can see where it might have given you a headache. But it was well worth the effort you put into it.

  7. Early this morning, I made a comment and it went to cyber space. so I promptly did it again, and it did the same thing!!!!
But I could not let your beautiful card go without a comment, as it is amazing. I would not want to cover it up either. You could just add a sentiment and let it go at that. Perfect! But you could experiment and use a die to cut a word, that you could use on another card. You know, let the back show through. Can you tell that I just finished the, Stretch Your Stamps 2 class. Lol! Great card Rosy!
