Peach Rose

Aloha dear friends,

This is my first time using Neenah Solar White layering weight card. Ok, I LOVE it. It is very smooth, very white and seems to be much better quality compared to Georgia Pacific. This is a large card for me, a 5" x 7" - I usually make A2 size cards. But I wanted to have lots of room to 'play.'

Stamp Set: Stately Flowers 6 by Melanie Muenchinger for Gina K. Designs
Embossing Folder: Anna Griffin "Poppy"
Pearls: Want2Scrap
Ribbon is from my stash, but is 1-1/2" peach organza.

The rose is colored using Copic markers, then gently swished Wink of Stella clear glitter brush over parts of it for shimmer. I made the stick pin by adding clear adhesive to the pin, sliding up some different pearls, topping with a tiny amber rhinestone and used Crystal Accents in between each pearl. I cut off the pointed end of the stick pin with wire cutters so it doesn't hurt anyone. I colored the cut point with a Sharpie Gold marker.

Thank you very much for stopping by ♥

Friendly Pheasants

Hello friends,

I'm having some tech difficulties with Blogger asking me for passwords, then not letting me post and it's getting tiresome trying to problemsolve this. But I will try to upload two cards I made recently.

The first is a simple stamp with Memento Rich Cocoa. Image is from Stampin' Up, I layered the image onto chocolate brown and beige colored cardstock, one embossed with twigs by Cuttlebug. I added  two eyelets, tied twine to a large beige button, and felt like this would be a nice place to stop to send as a get well soon cad to a man we know.

The second card is a fun beachy scene with Snoopy. He just looks cool no matter what setting he is placed in! Colored this with Sharpies regular markers for the larger areas, and the ultra fine for smaller areas. hey really do come out in the exact colorsr :)

Thank you everyone for stopping by to see my latest endeavors!

Friendship Flowers

Hi friends,

I've finished two cards (yay)! The first one is colored with regular color pencils. I used Pebbles chalks for a soft background, pierced holes for a border on the image and sentiment, and added pink rhinestones for accents. The pattern paper is from Anna Griffin. Using the pencils to color the flowers stretched the cardstock a bit, so I placed foam adhesive to push the flowers and leaves out for a more 3D look.

The second card is colored with Sharpie Ultra Fine markers. I added Glossy Accents over some of the leaves and flowers, then a touch of Stickles here and there. I used Pebbles chalk for to soften the white of the cardstock, then four small lavender pearls in the corner.

The pattern paper is from Brenda Walton. The envelope is made with the Envelope Punch Board.

Thank you very much for visiting and taking a look!
