Have been busy with cardmaking (yay!), even taking the time to wet emboss and fussy cut images.

Next week is our 19th anniversary - our love has carried us through both the easy and joyous times as well as the difficult and sometimes scary times with health challenges.

Here is the card I made yesterday for my DH. The stamp set is by Theresa Momber, "Farm Days." I'm so glad it turned out to look like the last place we lived in the high desert of central Oregon. We could see the Cascade Mountains from out home, and watch the sun go down behind them most nights. Theresa Momber has amazing tutorials and videos showing how to sponge backgrounds, so I lifted the technique from her (thanks Theresa).

I fussy cut out the barn with trees, and popped them on adhesive foam, along with the sentiments. I carried the theme on through to the inside of the card, as well. All cardstock and brads are from GinaK Designs at StampTV. She has THE best cardstock to stamp, color and sponge on !!! Inks - I stamped with Memento and sponged with Tsukineko.

Thanks for stopping by - I appreciate all my friends and visitors!! Hugs, Rosy

The 3rd Annual MOABH by There She Goes Stamps!

Welcome to the 3rd annual Mother of All Blog Hops sponsored by There She Goes Clears Stamps!   Over the next two days, we (customers and trendsetters!) will be featuring some of our favorite There She Goes Clear Stamp sets!   Not only that, we’re going to give YOU a chance to win some fabulous prizes!
To find out how, please go to the There She Goes’ blog and read the simple instructions.

My card is very easy peasy made with the Garden of Life stamp set by There She Goes clear stamps.

I used my favorite cardstock (Pure Luxury 120# heavy weight in white made GinaK Designs), as well as a Bazzill layer in olive, run through the Cuttlebug with Leafy Branches embossing folder. Then I used Spellbinders Small Dies (has the ticket tab cuts on the corners) on GinaK 80# white layering cardstock for the image and sentiment - both cut and embossed.

I used Memento inks in Cantaloupe and Pear Tart to sponge as background for the sentiment, as well as on the Martha Stewart 'pop up' lotus flower punched out flower. I cut out a cloud shape from a post it note (lifted idea from Theresa Momber - thanks Theresa!) and sponged the clouds in Memento (blue) Sea Breeze. The image is colored with Copic markers, with Diamond stickles over the dragonflies (sparkles IRL). I tied some dark green twine through a yellow button, and used Crystal Lacquer over the button and the middle of the sunflower to add 3D lift and effect. To finish it off, I balanced the lower left corner out with 3 ivory adhesive backed pearls.

Thank you ever so much for stopping by! To continue on with the MOABH, click on the Inlinkz below. With hugs and blessings to all, Rosy
